CARNIVAL TRIUMPH FACTS

Description
Carnival Triumph is the first of the two Triumph class cruise ships in the Carnival cruise fleet and is identical to her sister ship, the Carnival Victory. This interior of the ship is themed on popular cities around the globe. The Triumph class ships are similar to the Destiny class vessels with the addition of another deck. Carnival Triumph was built in 1999.

Destinations
Carnival Triumph cruises from the port of New Orleans and cruises to the Eastern or Western Caribbean and the Bahamas. In late 2011 she will be based in Galveston, Texas sailing on western Caribbean voyages

History
Carnival Triumph built at Fincantieri shipyard in Italy was brought into service in 1999. The ship was launched around the same time as Carnival Fantasy. Her maiden voyage from the port of New Orleans was postponed due to hurricane Ida. She was christened by Madeline Arison.

Dining
As Carnival Triumph’s theme is the most popular cities of the world, the two main dining halls are named London and Paris. The other noteworthy dining options include a Hong Kong Noodle Company, South Beach Club lido restaurant, Club Rio bar, Vienne café, California bar, Oxford bar, World’s way bar, Capitol bar, Venezia bar, and the Big Easy piano bar. Triumph also provides casual eat outs like Asian Station, grand buffet, deli, dessert station, pizzeria, sushi bar and a salad bar.

Entertainment
Places such as Camp Carnival, Club O2, Circle C, Twister water slide, Sea side Carnival theatre, video gaming hub and many pools cater for children and teens. Entertainment includes The Rome Lounge, Carnival Triumph Seaside Theatre, the Hollywood dance club, and Club Monaco Casino and the Oxford cigar bar.

Carnival Triumph also includes various health options like a gym, an aerobics center, a jogging track and a sports deck with options such as mini golf course, water wars water balloons and ping-pong. Health and relaxation needs are cater for at the Spa Carnival.

Cabins
Triumph’s accommodation includes about eight Penthouse suites and more than forty regular suites sized at more than 300 sq ft that can accommodate up to four guests. There are more than seven hundred Ocean view rooms where some rooms include balcony space at nearly 200 to 250 sq ft. There are six hundred interior staterooms.
