CARNIVAL PARADISE FACTS

Description
Carnival Paradise is the eighth of the eight Fantasy class ships in the Carnival Cruise Lines fleet. The other Fantasy class ships which preceded her are Carnival Fantasy (1990), Carnival Ecstasy (1991), Carnival Sensation (1993), Carnival Fascination (1994), Carnival Imagination (1995), Carnival Inspiration (1996) and Carnival Elation (1998). The six deck high Atrium with glass dome is a focal common area with lounge and bar at the center of the vessel.

Destinations
Carnival Paradise cruises to Baja in Mexico which is usually a three-day or a four-day round trip. The cruise departs from the port of Long Beach in California; the next port visited from here is the port of Ensenada in Mexico.

History
Carnival Paradise was launched in the year 1998, and was built at Finland. The ship was initially meant to be released as ‘MS Paradise’, however was later changed to Carnival Paradise. It was also the first cruise ship to have a non-smoking zone throughout the ship

Dining
The largest dining rooms on Carnival Paradise are Elation and Destiny. Other dining options are the Mongolian Rotisserie Grille and Paris Lido restaurant. For more casual dining, there is also a Buffet, Sushi bar, Deli, Salad, Pizzeria, Salad bar and a poolside restaurant. The American piano bar, United States bar and Café ile de France are places for good food with music.

Entertainment
Camp Carnival, Circle C, Club O2 and Children's pool are popular entertainment spots for children and teenagers. Adults on the cruise have options such as Majestic Casino, Leonardo Lounge, Rotterdam cigar bar, Queen Mary Lounge, Serenity, Rex Dance Club, Video Arcade and Normandy Main Lounge.

Carnival Paradise has a Spa Carnival, massage rooms, relaxation rooms, sauna and steam rooms for guests to relax and rejuvenate their bodies. Sporting activities on the Paradise include basket ball court, volley ball court, mini golf court, a gym, an aerobics center and a jogging track.

Cabins
The ocean view rooms and the Balcony rooms are sized at 200 sq ft and can accommodate up to three guests. The inside stateroom, sized at 150 sq ft. Penthouse suites and the other suites on Carnival Paradise are available for guests who want additional luxury.
