CARNIVAL DREAM FACTS

Description
The Carnival Dream cruise ship is Carnival Cruise Line’s largest vessel (at time of launch in 2009). The ship weighs 130,000 tons, cruises at 22.5 knots and can carry nearly 3000 passengers. This ‘Dream class’ cruise ship has a two-deck mini golf course, a huge water pool with multi slides options.

Destinations
The Dream class vessel has cruises to the eastern and western Caribbean, departing from Port Canaveral, Florida to the Caribbean islands and features ports like Port Canaveral in Orlando, St Thomas in Virgin Islands, Nassau in the Bahamas, Cozumel, Costa Maya and Belize City

History
Carnival Dream was launched in September 2009. Carnival intends to introduce her sister ship Carnival Magic in 2011.

Dining
The fine and formal dining choices on the Carnival Dream are the Crimson restaurant, the Scarlett restaurant, the Mongolian restaurant, a Wasabi Sushi bar, the Gathering Lido’s restaurant, Chef’s art Steakhouse; it also has an array of bars like the Dream bar, the Sam’s piano bar, the Sun-Set bar and the Jackpot bar. The other options include a pizzeria, a deli and a tandoor.

Entertainment
There is wide range of entrainment activities on the Carnival Dream, including Carnival’s seaside theater, multi water slides pool and waves pool, Serenity pool (exclusive to adults). Other fun choices on the cruise are the Dance club, Club O2, Jackpot Casino, Camp carnival and a Video Arcade.

The carnival’s fitness and rejuvenation options are focused on the Sun and Spa deck. The Spa treatment on the cruise is influenced by Asian culture and some of the places to be are Thalasso pool, Oriental Steam bath, Thermal suite, Aroma steam room and a Relaxation lounge. The cruise also has a special VIP couples massage place for it up-scale customers. Other activities on the ship include gym, an aerobics center, a jogging track, basketball court, mini golf .

Cabins
Carnival Dream has a range of accommodation options ranging from standard cabins less than 200 sq ft to luxury suites that measure more than 900 sq ft. The new inclusions on the Carnival Dream are a Balcony Cloud 9 Spa, Premium Balcony stateroom, Cloud 9 spa Ocean view and a Cloud 9 interior stateroom. All the luxury suites have living and dining sections and complete bath that includes a whirl pool and a shower. The basic or standard cabins are offer comfortable standard accommodation. The new Spa suites on the cruise include private Spa facilities, Complimentary fitness class, Thalasso pool access and the thermal suite.
