CARNIVAL FANTASY FACTS

Description
The Carnival Fantasy cruise ship is the original Fantasy class ship from Carnival Cruise Lines. The ship cruises at 21 knots and is 261 meters with tonnage of 70,367. It is also referred to as the “Fun Ship” with its amazing water park and a separate area just for adults. The interior of this Fantasy class cruise was designed by Joe Farcus.

Destinations
Carnival Fantasy cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The Bahamas cruise departs from Charleston, South Carolina visiting two major ports at the Bahamas: Nassau and Freeport. The Caribbean cruises from Charleston covers ports such as Nassau, Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay. Another cruise departs from Mobile, Alabama and goes through ports such as Cozumel, Mexico, Progreso and Yucatan.

History
Carnival Fantasy was built Kvaerner Masa-Yards, Helsinki New in Finland and originally cruised from Port of Miami. In 2009, Carnival Cruise Line decided to have Fantasy cruise from Mobile in Alabama to replace ‘the Holiday’, while Carnival Elation was being renovated. Later that year, she began cruising from Charleston in South Carolina. The ship has been renovated as per the ‘Evolution of Fun’ concept of the Carnival cruise Line.

Dining
Eating places include the Mongolian Rotisserie Grill, Windows on the sea bar and grill, Celebrations dining room, Jubilee dining room, a Cleopatra's Piano Bar, the 21st Century bar, and a Sushi Bar. Lounges on the cruise include The Forum aft Lounge, the Crystal Lounge and the Cat Lounge.

Entertainment
Entertainment includes the fantastic Carnival water works which is a huge water pool for adults and kids, a resort pool and the Serenity pool meant only for the adults. Other areas of entertainment are the Club 21 Casino, a Video Arcade, an Electricity Dance Club, a Majestic Cigar Bar. For teens and kids the options are Camp carnival, Circle C and the Club O2 which is a place to socialize and hang out with their peers.

For health and fitness, guests can enjoy the Carnival Spa, a luxury for the skin and the body. The Sports deck has a gym, a fitness centre, a massage parlor, a sauna and a steam room. The Sun deck has a jogging track and a mini golf course.

Cabins
The options for cabins on the cruise are the elite and luxury staterooms referred as Suite and Deluxe suite that have a verandah attached to it. These are mostly on the Upper deck and are approximately 400 sq ft. The other cabins are Ocean view Stateroom, Obstructed view stateroom, and Interior Stateroom.
