The AIDA body and soul SPA is over a thousand square metres in area. The language onboard is German, so it is handy to brush up on useful German phrases before travelling with this ship.
The AIDAaura was built in 2003, in Wismar, Germany. Like all the AIDA vessels, the AIDAaura carries the Italian flag.
The Rossini restaurant is the only restaurant in the ship that offers waited service. The Calypso and the Market restaurants are buffet-style with more casual dining set-ups. The Rossini is an ala carte restaurant. All three serve both German and International cuisines, with specialties depending on the destination.
The AIDAaura is promotes healthy living. Facilities include swimming pool, sun deck, gymnasium, basketball, volleyball courts, a jogging trail which goes around the perimeter of one of the decks. A highlight of the ship is the massive Body and Soul spa where guests can not only take advantage of expert masseuse, but enjoy sauna baths, facials and more. The ship features a two-deck glass-domed theatre.
There are a total of 633 cabins in the AIDAcara and they’re categorized into 10 layout types.
