EMERALD PRINCESS FACTS

Description
Emerald Princess is part of the Princess Cruises and belongs to the Grand class in her fleet. The cruise has three main dining rooms, bar, lounges, night club, pools, Lotus Spa, duty free stores, a hall dedicated to photography and expensive art and much more. The Grand Piazza is the crux of the cruise and stands to welcome all its guests, with its Italian influence, and soothing hues used in its décor, the place is full of life with the three major cafes surrounding the atrium.

Emerald Princess has cruises to the Caribbean islands from Fort Lauderdale.

History
Emerald Princess was built in the Italian shipyard of Fincantieri Monfalcone in 2006 and handed over to Princess Cruises in 2007, and was christened in Greece the same year. Emerald Princess has two sisters Crown Princess and Caribbean Princess that were introduced before her with the same pattern, layout and features. The Art gallery on the cruise contains master pieces worth $2 million dollars.

Dining
The three huge dining rooms are exquisite and offer an amazing cuisine on their menu, the other places to eat include, International Café, Escapes Travellers café, Internet café, Michelangelo Dining room, Da Vinci Dining Room, Botticelli Dining Room, Vines bar, Casino bar, Wheelhouse bar, Crooners bar, Crown grill, Mermaid’s tail, Trident grill, Pizza & Ice Cream bar, Café Caribe, Sabatini's Italian restaurant and the Adagio bar.

Entertainment
The young ones on the cruise have choices of either splashing at the pool or hangout with their peers at the Youth centre or the Teen centre or the Chill out. The cruise also has Princess Theatre, Gatsby’s Casino, Speakeasy Cigar lounge, Explorers lounge, Club Fusion, Terrace pool, Neptune reef and pool, Calypso pool, Movies under the stars, Video Arcade and the Skywalkers Night Club.

On the Emerald cruise guests can opt for various treatments, hair dos, and much more all related to improving one’s health and keeping fit. The options on this cruise are: Lotus Spa, Thermal suites, Horizon court, Aerobics, Fitness Centre, Massage, Beauty Salon, Steam, Sauna, Centre Court, Cyber Golf, Princess links and a Jogging track.

Cabins
Cabin accommodation includes Ocean view Staterooms where some have a balcony, or obstructed view cabins and the Inside Staterooms. for more space and comfort there are a number of suites including the Owner’s Suites, the Penthouse Suites , the Vista Suites, Family Suites and Mini-Suites.
