Crystal Cruises: A Journey to a World of Luxury

Crystal Cruises first opened its doors to tourists about two decades ago and for the last fifteen years it has been considered as one of the top luxury cruise lines circumnavigating the world.  Crystal Cruises is renowned for its excellent service, sprawling space on their ships, its fantastic array of amenities and its wide selection of on board activities that passengers of all ages can choose from.   Not only does Crystal Cruises pamper and spoil its guests but it also takes them to the dreamiest destinations and to the world’s hidden treasures.  Crystal Cruises, with its rich experience, has perfected the art of luxury cruising both on board and on shore.

The Crystal Cruises Fleet

Crystal Cruises has two of the best cruise ships in the world – the Crystal Serenity and the Crystal Symphony.   Both vessels are equipped with top-of-the-line navigational equipment and ship facilities.  They are spacious, elegantly designed and simply stunning.  They have the finest and the beautifully appointed accommodations and their amenities are impressive.

The Crystal Serenity ship was built in 2003 with a passenger capacity of 1080 and a crew of 635.  With a passenger to crew ratio of approximately 2:1, Crystal Cruises is able to provide unparalleled service.  It also offers top-notch entertainment with a state-of-the-art Hollywood theatre and a line-up of world-class shows and acts.   It also provides opportunities for learning and skills enhancement with its computer university at sea center which includes a laboratory classroom that offers tutorials to passengers.  It also has a library with over 3,000 books on hand.  For those who would rather keep physically active, sports courts are available for games such as tennis.  The sports deck is equipped for golf and also features outdoor and indoor pools where one can do laps.   Those who would rather completely relax can turn to the spa and fitness center which has treatment rooms and relaxation areas that offers salon services, spa services and sauna.

The Crystal Symphony, which is a smaller vessel, was built in 1995 and refurbished last 2006.   It has a passenger capacity of 940 with a crew of 545. This vessel may be smaller than the Crystal Serenity but what it lacks in size it makes up with excellent service.  On board amenities include a tennis court, a full-service fitness center, a computer center, a luxurious spa, a club where passengers can dance the night away, the Sea Casino, two swimming pools, a world-class entertainment center and an award winning restaurant that offers fabulous world cuisine.  It also has ornately adorned staterooms, some of which even have private verandas.
