Disney Magic is a cruise that belongs to Disney Cruise line and is a place packed with enough fun and adventure for kids, adults, families and couples. This cruise echoes ocean luxury with an ambience of the true Disney world. Where else can one see a Disney character visiting them or entertaining them while at sea?

The cruise’s horn plays part of “When you wish upon a star”. The cruise line has a private island, Castaway Cay. The cruise weighs nearly 80,000 tons and speeds at 21.5 knots with a passenger capacity of 2400. It is all fairyland and fun filled adventure cruise.

During the mid 90’s, Disney booked trips on ‘The Big Red Boat’, a cruise that belonged to the defunct Premier Cruises fleet. Disney’s cruise trips turned out to be successful. Hence, they decided to build a cruise to live up to Disney’s standards and introduced Disney Magic, their own vessel in 1998. Built at the Italian shipyard Fincantieri, this cruise has a fun filled atmosphere.

The Dining experience on Disney Magic is one memory the passengers will cherish, irrespective of the age factor. The Parrot Cay’s blended dining experience with a Caribbean marketplace theme, casual dining experience at the Topsider’s bar and restaurant, Lumiere’s traditional and formal dining, Animator's Palate that begins with a mundane black and white room colour and during the course of one’s meal changes to various Disney hues and even has the room filled with live character’s by the end of the meal are some of the options available.

The cruise ship has a fast food joint for ice-creams and fruit bar called Scoops, Pluto's Doghouse that serves burgers, fries and tacos, and Pinocchio's Pizzeria, a pizza palace. The cruise also has various bars like the Rockin bar, Preludes bar and the Outlook bar.

The Sessions Cadillac lounge and Promenade lounge are places where one can bump into one of their favourite Disney characters that make the place lively and colourful.
The Walt Disney Theatre and The Buena Vista Theatre has shows similar to the ones on Broadway and Las Vegas and airs Disney movies. Disney’s fun activities for toddlers and teens are at Flounder’s reef, Disney’s Oceaneer lab, Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Ocean Quest and Quarter Masters.

The adults on the cruise can be entertained at the ‘Adults only’ night club, Piano bar and a lively Jazz club that includes stand-up comedy. Pools like Goofy’s pool, Mickey’s pool, and Quite Cove pool are places for either family or adults only option. Disney Magic has its own Vista Spa and Salon run by Steiner’s of London and it includes beauty treatments, therapies and massages. It also includes a gym packed with various exercise equipments and has yoga and aerobic classes.

The ship also includes other games like ping pong, shoot hoops, slap shot & tackle, shuffleboard and other arcade games. The ESPN Skybox meant to view major sporting event, where a satellite linked to the big-screen to view live sports.

Accommodation includes Deluxe family Verandahs, Ocean view staterooms and Standard Inside stateroom. The Royal Suite with Verandah, Two-bedroom Verandah suites, and One-bedroom Verandah suites, offer more luxury and space.
