The Zenith is one of Pullmantur’s family-oriented vessels. Onboard the ship, parents can enjoy entertainment facilities for adults while their children are in the Tibu Club or the Arcade. The pools inside the ship are also designed to be children-friendly. While Pullmantur hosts Spanish-speaking vessels, their crew can speak English fluently. Expect the announcements and the materials to be in Spanish, though. Your fellow passengers are also bound to be largely Spanish speakers. It would be advantageous for you to learn or review useful phrases before you travel with this ship.
The Zenith cruise ship hosts cruises from Spain to the Mediterranean and other exotic locations around the world. Expect cultural and historical tours when you travel with Pullmantur’s fleet.
The MV Zenith was built in 1992 by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany. It was originally meant for the Celebrity Cruises which owned the vessel till 2007. It was then sold to Pullmantur Cruises, with refitting done between 2006 and 2007. It has never changed its name. The new cruise line retained its original. The vessel is built after the Horizon which was also designed by Meyer Werft.
There are two main dining areas onboard the Zenith. The only dining area with waiter service is the Caravelle Restaurant. Windsurfing Buffet Café and Grill serve meals throughout the day too but the setting is more casual. As the name suggests, meals are served buffet-style. For refreshments and cocktails, passengers can frequent six bars sprinkled throughout the ship.
The Zenith has all the basic amenities you’ll expect from a luxury cruise ship that’s designed for family travel. Entertainment for small children and teens include the Tibu Club and the Arcade. There are two saltwater outdoor pools that are designed to accommodate children. Adult entertainment facilities include the night club, casino, Broadway lounge, Jacuzzis, solarium, spa, gym, and the salon. There is also a library for those who would like to do some light reading during the trip.
Three cabin types would be considered impressive onboard the Zenith. They’re the Royal Suite, the Junior Suite, and the Deluxe cabins. For all of these cabin types, passengers can choose from terraced and non-terraced positions. The Superios and Superior plus cabins have interior and exterior layouts, the latter having small windows or portholes. The suites and deluxe cabins are suited to travellers who want more space.
