Ms Albatros was built in 1973 at Wärtsilä Helsinki New Shipyard in Finland. She originally commenced service for Royal Viking Line as Royal Viking Sea. She has sailed for a number of companies since then including Norwegian Cruise Line, Norwegian Capricorn Line, Star Cruises. She has undergone a number of name changes including the names Royal Odyssey and Norwegian Star.

Entertainment includes swimming pool, promenade deck, fitness centre with sauna and steam room, bocce court, golf green, shuffleboard. There are a number bars to enjoy a drink. The Atlantic lounge hosts shows and events. There is also a cinema, bars and lounges and live music.
