MSC MAGNIFICA FACTS

Description
MSC Magnifica has amenities that redefine luxury travel. The cabins onboard this ship are spacious, and most of them have balconies facing the sea. Passengers also get to enjoy top of the line spa treatments from MSC Aurea Spa. This vessel is built for relaxation, and the spa facility here is simply impressive. With its Italian flair, the company managed to create a ship which welcomes families but doesn’t forget the beauty of luxury traveling. This is an English-speaking vessel despite the fact that the line is based in Italy. MSC is also considered the most secure cruise line in the world.

Destinations
All MSC cruise ships including the MSC Magnifica hold cruises to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe during the winter and summer seasons. Throughout the rest of the year, trips to South Africa, North America, South America, and the Caribbean are scheduled too. Most cruises last for a week although some last for as long as 14 days.

History
The MSC Magnifica is the newest vessel to be included in the MSC Italian Cruises line. It was made by STX Europe in Saint-Nazaire, France for the Italian cruise company. Since its launch in 2009, the ship has been operating mainly in the Mediterranean. The company is thinking of branching out, though, and assigning more destinations to this super vessel. The MSC Magnifica is a Musica-class cruise ship. It currently sails the flag of Panama.

Dining
There are two main dining areas onboard the MSC Magnifica. The L’Edera and the Quattro Venti both offer formal, waiter serviced dining. They serve exquisite Italian food with the best Italian wine. If you feel like having a less formal lunch, though, you can also go to the Sahara Buffet. This buffet restaurant offers Italian and International delicacies. Of course, if you feel like having specialty dishes, you can also go to the Oriental Plaza. This is located on the 7th deck and served the best Asian dishes.

Entertainment
The main entertainment facilities onboard this ship includes a big theater which can accommodate 1240 people, a casino, a disco and a video gaming arcade. For those who would like to relax, the MSC Aurea Spa is open 24/7. There is also a deck devoted entirely to sports. You can go jogging or play basketball and tennis while you’re onboard the MSC Magnifica.

Cabins
The best cabins onboard the MSC Magnifica are the Deluxe Suites with Balcony, and the Family Suite with Balcony. The family suite has two single beds, its own bathroom, and all the basic amenities including an internet connection. It’s the second biggest suite onboard the ship at 27 square meters. The Deluxe Suite is still slightly bigger at 31 square meters. You can also get cheaper outside cabins with balconies that could be up to 22 square meters. These have private baths as well. The Outside cabins with portholes are smaller but still spacious at 16 square meters. Inside cabins are the smallest at 12 square meters. There are also cabins for passengers with disabilities.
