DISNEY WONDER FACTS

Description
Disney Cruise Line’s second vessel, Disney Wonder, is another cruise built on the true spirit of Disneyland magic and all its glory. It is packed with fun and Disney adventure all the way. The hull is black and has a huge Disney Wonder logo that can’t miss the eye. Dining options, Spa, pool and Disney clubs are all designed for a fun filled cruise you will remember forever.

Destinations
Disney Wonder has its cruises to the Bahamas, LA, Alaska, Mexican Riviera and the Panama Canal.

History
Disney Wonder was the second cruise launched in 1999 after the Disney Magic and was constructed in Italy at the Fincantieri shipyard. The cruise had it maiden voyage from the shipyard, had a stopover in UK on Southampton port and after two weeks harbored had Port Canaveral. Tinkerbell is considered as the God mother for Disney Wonder. In October 2006, Disney Wonder was sent to a dry dock to be renovated and was constructed on the same lines of Disney Magic living up to its design, craftsmanship and exclusive features.

With the introduction of the Disney Dream begins sailing from Port Canaveral, Disney Wonder was relocated to Los Angeles, California in 2011.

Dining
Dining experience on Disney Wonder is a field day not just for the kids but for the adults too. The exquisite and entertaining décor in every dining room is worth one’s while on the cruise. Animator’s Palate, an animated theme décor, Parrot’s Cay influenced by the Caribbean market place are examples of a unique dining experience. Other dining places on the cruise includes Pluto's Doghouse snack bar, Blanket Beach buffet, Lumiere's and Triton's dining, Pinocchio's pizzeria, Topsider Buffet, Scoops, Outlook bar, Signals bar, Preludes bar, Rockin Bar and Cove Café.

Entertainment
Disney Wonder is all about fun, frolic and entertainment, be it the Quite Cove Adult only pool or the Goofy’s family pool, Water slides, or Mickey’s kids and Splash pool. With places like Disney's Oceaneer lab, Disney's Oceaneer Club and Flounder's Reef nursery, parents need not worry about their kids. These places offer a lot of fun activities to keep them occupied and enjoy in true Disney style. The Walt Disney Theatre and the Buena Vista Theatre are for shows organized in Broadway and Las Vegas style or for fun Disney movies.

Disney Cruise line’s Vista Spa and Salon is a place to relax and feel pampered, thanks to the various treatments offered. In addition, there is a fitness centre, Yoga classes, Aerobics and thermal baths. The World wide Sports deck too is packed with loads of fun activities to keep its passengers completely occupied while at sea.

Cabins
Accommodation includes Deluxe Family Stateroom with Verandah, Deluxe Stateroom with Verandah, Deluxe Stateroom with Navigator's Verandah, Ocean view staterooms and Interior Staterooms. Disney Wonder suites have one bedroom or two bedroom options with an open-private verandah.
