BIRKA PARADISE FACTS

Description
Birka Paradise is a cruise ship operated by Birka Line. From the hull design, to the exhaust and sewage treatment technology, the 177 m long ship is designed to minimise impact to the sensitive environment of the Baltic where she sails. She is designed as a cruise ship rather than a cruise ferry - there is no car deck on this ship.

Birka Paradise cruises daily from Stadsgårdskajen, Slussen in Stockholm, Sweden.

History
Birka Paradise was built at Aker Finnyards at Rauma, Finland and launched in 2004.

Dining
Birka Paradise restaurants include the Four Seasons restaurant, Le Bistro and Grand Buffet. Light meals and snacks are available at Paradise Beach and Café Brazil.

Entertainment
Facilities on Birka Paradise include eights bars. There is live music at the Club Copacabana, disco or piano music in the Yacht Club Bar. The recreation deck has a swimming pool, jacuzzis and sauna, and jogging track.
