AIDAAURA FACTS

Description
The AIDAaura is sister ship to the AIDAvita and has similar facilities and layout, including three restaurants, five bars and over 3000 square metres of sun decks. The AIDA body and soul SPA is over a thousand square metres in area. The language onboard is German, so it is handy to brush up on useful German phrases before travelling with this ship.
History
The AIDAaura was built in 2003, in Wismar, Germany. Like all the AIDA vessels, the AIDAaura carries the Italian flag.
Dining
The Rossini restaurant is the only restaurant in the ship that offers waited service. The Calypso and the Market restaurants are buffet-style with more casual dining set-ups. The Rossini is an ala carte restaurant. All three serve both German and International cuisines, with specialties depending on the destination.
Entertainment
The AIDAaura is promotes healthy living. Facilities include swimming pool, sun deck, gymnasium, basketball, volleyball courts, a jogging trail which goes around the perimeter of one of the decks. A highlight of the ship is the massive Body and Soul spa where guests can not only take advantage of expert masseuse, but enjoy sauna baths, facials and more. The ship features a two-deck glass-domed theatre.
Cabins
There are a total of 633 cabins in the AIDAcara and they’re categorized into 10 layout types. You can choose from suites, or balcony cabins, outer cabins without balconies, interior cabins without view. The premium suites with private sun decks are about twice the size of the normal cabins. There are also cabins in the ship which are especially designed for passengers with disabilities. All cabins and suites have air conditioning.
