A-ROSA DONNA FACTS
The A_ROSA fleet has a number of long narrow vessels designed for river cruising - the Danube fleet vessels are 124.5m long and 14.4m wide. The A-Rosa Donna is one of four A_ROSA river cruise ships that cruise the Danube. She is a sister ship to the A-Rosa Bella, A-Rosa Mia and the A-Rosa Riva. Swan Hellenic is currently (2011) offering Danube cruises on the A-Rosa Donna under a partnership agreement with A-ROSA.
A-Rosa Donna was built in the same year ( 2001 / 2002) as her sister ship, the A-Rosa Bella, at the same Neptun Werft GmbH shipyard.
The A-Rosa Donna offers a range of Mediterranean cooking with some regional specialties. Guests dine in a relaxed atmosphere, without dress codes or fixed seating arrangements. Both indoor and outdoor restaurants are available, and guests can enjoy a wine or cocktail from the bar.
Guests health and well-being are well looked after on the cruise, with the Panorama sauna and bio-sauna. The wellness facilities are known as SPA-ROSA, and are unique on a river boat. Facilities include a sauna with one-way glass walls giving guests opportunity to enjoy the views in privacy as they cruise the river. Beauty and cosmetic treatments are available. Other recreational facilities on board include an outdoor pool located on the sun deck, a putting green and shuffleboard..
The A-Rosa Donna has 100 outside cabins. Some cabins have panoramic windows and some have a French balcony to enjoy the views. At 14.5 to 16.5 mē in size, the cabins are reasonably generous in size. Category A cabins cater for families and have a sofa bed.
